Second Blog Finally !!

Its took me quite a while to get used to uploading a blog as I'm not a blog person.  Since my last blog I have completed a many different workshops and briefs for different classes so I have allot to talk about.

Within the class Creative Concepts I have already completed two briefs, a working time device and creating four symbols for four different words.  For my time device I began looking at water clocks and in the end created a working time device using water, which time a set time to take a drink.

For my symbol brief I choose the words festival, society, culture and holiday.  First I researched what I thought each word meant and began to use this to start designing symbols for each word and in the end I produced four digital symbols.

At the moment I have started my next brief where I have to create a themed Sketchbook based on a location of my choice.  The location that I have choose to look at is the woods as the experience that I got when I went there was that I felt quite Isolated and Alone so I feel I could really show this effectively as a themed sketchbook.

My first blog !!

My name is Lyle Davidson and i am a BA Art and Design student.  PDP last week was an interesting class as i was able to learn new things about myself, as i was asked to list the top 40 strong points.  This was quite difficult as i had never thought about my strong points and i was lucky to even name 10 good things about myself.  Once i had completed this i was asked to choose 5 of these points which i was most proud of and i choose my confidence, my positive attitude, always seeing the good side of things, having my own views and being happy.
