Small Maze Sculptures

 

What I have done here is that I have used a plain A4 sheet of paper and folded it like a foldout book but with more folds so that the squares were smaller so that there was  more squares.  What I then done was I created my own maze with multiple starting points that all travelled to the centre 4 squares of the paper as you can see here.

 

I was really happy with what I had created here as I didn't expect it to turn out so well.  As you can see this book sculpture has really adopted this confusing theme as straight away when you look at it you immediately don't know where to start.

As you can see here it is amazing how one sheet of paper can be manipulated and transformed into something that has a lot of meaning behind it.  My next steps for this piece is to experiment with size and also looking at mixing my LA photos with drawing.
